Vanquish ME uses its large applicator and power to evenly distribute heat directly to the fat in the abdomen, love handles and legs. This is accomplished with a sensation of a heating pad without touching the skin. Treatments are scheduled one week apart and usually range from 4-6 treatments to get the desired volume loss and overall contouring. How long does each treatment last and how many treatments will I need?
You will need 4-8 treatments per area. Each treatment lasts 45-60 minutes. After Vanquish ME, we will use the Radial Pulse Therapy of the Zimmer ZWave to maximize your fat loss.
In a clinical study it was demonstrated a 64% increase in circumferential reduction with the combined Vanquish ME / ZWave treatment over Vanquish ME alone!
What does it feel like?
You will be positioned comfortably. The device will be placed over the treatment area. As the treatment progresses you will feel a mild to moderate heat sensation. Many patients close their eyes and relax and listen to music.
Can I return to my normal routine after treatments?
Yes, you can return to your normal routine right after your treatment. While patients may experience mild redness and warmth after treatment these side effects last only minutes to hours and have no effect on your daily life.
How quickly will I see results?
You may start to see improvement within a few days after your first treatment. However, you will see the greatest results as early as 2 weeks after your final treatment. You may experience continued improvement as your body rids itself of fat cells, especially as you drink enough water every day during the treatment period.
Is diet and exercise required in order to see results?
No, the treatments are effective without diet or exercise. However, it is encouraged to live a healthier lifestyle. Many patients decide to start eating better and exercise once they’ve received the Vanquish ME treatments so that they can maintain their new physique. If you choose not to exercise, eat a balanced diet and maintain the fat loss, fat may return, but it may return in other areas.
How long do the results last?

What can I expect for results?
At the end of your treatment series you will see and feel a difference of decreased size in your treated area. Many patients are happier with the contour of their treated area. They report that their pants fit looser around the waste and their muffin top has been decreased or eliminated. It really depends on what area has been treated. This treatment is not for weight loss, but for body contouring.
How many times can I have the Vanquish ME procedure?
Vanquish ME treatments can be performed an unlimited number of times on a particular patient. After the recommended treatment period of 4 treatments over 4-6 weeks, there will be differences in how each patient will respond. But each patient will be smaller in the treated area each treatment. You may have the Vanquish ME treatment in the same area for another 4 treatments if more contouring is desired.
